The Internet of Things is the overused term given to inter-networking physical devices that enable data collection and exchange. It is today accepted that Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) are efficient wireless networks for IoT applications where battery powered devices need rather long range than data rate performance. This talk will present some aspects of the Ultra Narrow Band (UNB) communication techniques for LPWAN pushing to the limit the concept of exchanging data rate for range improvement. The talk will turn to different solutions concerning RF circuits design dedicated to UNB under low power constraints
