28GHz CMOS Phased-Array Transceiver for 5G New Radio

In this presentation, a 28GHz CMOS phased-array transceiver is presented. Very fine 0.1-degree beam-steering resolution is realized with 0.03dB RMS gain error over the whole phase tuning range. The transceiver achieves 6.4Gb/s in 256QAM over beam angle of -50 to 50 degree.
