In this workshop the focus will be on the synthesis of power combiners for advanced Doherty amplifiers. The synthesis of the generalized two-way Doherty combiner using transmission lines will be presented. New architectures will be discussed using this approach. The Novel N-way Doherty combiner synthesis will be discussed using transmission lines and coupled lines. Finally, a synthesis technique for harmonic tuning networks will be presented including impedance inverter properties.
