Integration of a Wideband Direct-RF Radio in 16nm FinFET

This presentation will detail some design challenges and associated solutions for integration of a 16nm direct-RF 4GHz digital radio with an SOC for 5G base station applications. The radio architecture will be presented, some key design trade-offs and decisions based on FinFET process characteristics will be discussed and silicon measurement results will be shown.
