All-Digital Beam Forming for SKA1-LOW: CTPM Design and Verification

Chinese Tile Processing Module (CTPM) developed by KLAASA is an all-digital beam forming back-end processor for SKA1-LOW. CTPM is capable of dual polarized 16-channel multi-beam forming within the bandwidth of 50MHz – 350MHz. Integrated with SKALA-2 testing facility at Cambridge, CTPM verified its DBF functionality in stand-alone mode and by expanded and combined, the module can further compose large-scale broadband DBF system.
