Compact Size and Wideband Triplexer Using SAW Resonators and LC Components
In this paper, we propose a compact size and wideband triplexer using SAW resonator and external LC components. For implementing wide bandwidth, SAW resonator is connected as series with inductor, implemented as overall 200% fractional bandwidth. For better performance of triplexer, we apply diplexer I and II method, reducing the leaked signals flowing to relative bands. The fully integrated triplexer is implemented as small sized 3.5 × 3.5 mm², and the measurement results show that insertion loss is above -3 dB and overall return loss is below -15 dB, which is well fabricated as we designed. Therefore, the implemented triplexer has a potential for further application such as 5G mobile communications and wideband high speed high frequency communications.
