Hybrid Architectures Leveraging Best of Both Worlds for eXtreme-Bandwidth Communications
Despite well-known advantages, phased-arrays cannot provide the most important aspect needed in wireless communications, namely multi-user services. This notion calls for architectures which will most likely be used in next generation mm-wave communications that leverage best of both worlds. This talk will introduce and present an exciting new realm on multi-antenna structures which will likely be the most viable candidate for mm-wave multi-antenna systems.
