Wide-Band Single-Ended-to-Balanced Power Divider with Broad-Band Common-Mode Suppression
A novel wide-band five-port single-ended-to-balanced power divider that features broad-band common-mode suppression is proposed in this paper. Ideal 180° phase inverters are used to replace the conventional half-wavelength transmission lines for the basic power divider, which allows to obtain wide-band common-mode suppression and circuit-size reduction. The reported five-port power divider exhibits broad-band operation with equal power division, high input/output power matching, high power isolation between the two balanced outputs, and wide-band common-mode suppression.
