Millimeter-Wave Automotive Radar:Background Theory, State-of-the Art, and Vulnerabilities
An introduction to the topic of millimeter-wave automotive radar with regard to background theory of operation and the state of the art of the technology will be presented. Additional topics include automotive radar target RCS, micro-Doppler characteristics, and the radar propagation environment. The technical aspects of some commercially available automotive radars will be discussed as well as potential interference vulnerabilities of these systems. Finally, a discussion on radar emulation and spoofing will be presented.
