Advanced Silicon Beamformer Chips for Ku-band and Ka-band SATCOM Systems

We present the IDT Silicon beamformer chips for Ku- and Ka-band SATCOM systems. The chip have state-of-the-art performance in RMS phase and amplitude error and in power consumption and linearity. These chips are fully packaged and can be placed on large printed-circuit boards using low-cost high-volume commercial pick-and-place machines. The goal is to greatly reduce the cost of SATCOM phased-arrays and to make commercial SATCOM a reality
