Measuring the Microwave Permittivity of Giant Unilamellar Vesicle Membranes

Giant unilamellar vesicles (GUV) are often used as model systems for the study of cell membranes, for which the dielectric constants are important biophysical parameters. Here, we report our efforts on measuring the microwave permittivity of floating GUV membranes.
