Energy Harvesting-enabled Self-sustainable Inkjet-printed Wireless Sensor Platform and via-enabled multi-layer printed structure for IoT Applications

The inkjet printing technology for the energy harvesting-enabled wireless sensor platform is going to be presented in this talk. Critical aspects of design considerations, theories and design examples for inkjet-printed microwave components will be presented in details. Printed artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) surface, RFID-enables sensor, active antenna, and hybrid-printed electronics are discussed as design examples. For the system integrity and multi-layer printing technique, a fully inkjet-printed via fabrication technique is going to be presented. Fully inkjet-printed Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) components are presented as design instances of the printed-via structure.
