Additive manufacturing applied to microwave filters and antennas up to 60 GHz
The large potential of additive manufacturing applied to the fabrication of 3D RF devices will be shown in this presentation.
Different manufacturing techniques are thus used for the fabrication of early prototypes of microwave to millimeter waveguide filters and antennas in a designing scheme as well as fully functional parts where AM was used as a critical technology for enhanced performances. Different materials from polymers to ceramics are used in the mentioned examples.
